Past Projects
The Blackburn Community Association is founded on the hard work of our many dedicated volunteers. The Association has succeeded in building the Blackburn Community Centre, establishing Bittner Park (in collaboration with the City of Prince George) and in restoring the R.J. Blackburn Heritage House. We also strive to deliver outstanding recreational programs for our many valued residents. Our work has been proudly sponsored by people like you and with your support, we can achieve so much more.
Donations may be sent via check or money order.

YOUTH PARK for Blackburn and area...
Blackburn Community Association is diligently working towards the formation of a Youth Park on the old lacrosse box site next to the Community Centre. The BBCA is currently in the planning stages of the Youth Park which we hope will include a outdoor basketball court in addition to a skateboard park. The BBCA is talking with the City of Prince, Skatewave and residents of the community to define a vision of the park and set goals. We are looking for Youth Park Committee members to assist us with this project so if you are a skateboarder, a youth interested in creating a park, or a parent of a youth, please contact the Community Centre at 963-3292.
Proposed plans for the park can be seen at the Blackburn Community Centre.
An account has been opened at BBK Bottle Depot for anyone to drop off bottles, cans, juice containers, etc and the proceeds will go towards funding for the park.
