Volunteer Positions

The Blackburn Community Association currently has the following Volunteer Positions open:
Board of Directors
  • Program Director:  We are currently seeking a mature person to join the Board of Directors as a program director.  In this position, you would oversee the running of programs, registration nights and assist in the development of new programs.  If you would like to apply for this position, please forward your name and number to the Blackburn Community Centre, at  963-3292.  
  • Meetings are held once per month and directors are expected to participate in all areas of the association including sub-committees.      

Program Leaders:
New leaders are always encouraged and welcome.  This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in leadership skills.  Please contact 963-3292 for more information.

Centre Assistants
Inventory Tabulators: one day 4 times per year
Garden Maintenance
Sign changers - as needed, could be up to once per week
